CopticReads.org is a church-based digital initiative dedicated to making Orthodox Christian heritage and writings accessible to readers and researchers through a well-organized and completely free digital platform. The initiative aims to promote theological knowledge and support spiritual and academic study within the Church and beyond, while fully respecting publishers' rights. The platform is led by its Founding Director, His Grace Bishop Pavly, General Bishop of El Montaza District Churches and Alexandria Youth, together with a dedicated team of servants whose knowledge, labor, and devotion make this growing resource possible. Hosted and supported by Holy Sophia University — United States.
We are committed to providing a comprehensive digital library of Orthodox Christian writings rooted in the tradition of the Church, offering well-organized and carefully classified content that is freely accessible to all — without any fees or subscriptions — while fully preserving publishers' rights and without enabling downloads. The platform seeks to present a wide range of Christian writings and knowledge resources in order to enrich academic research and study, and to serve readers and researchers through diverse and valuable content. Publishing such materials does not imply that the platform endorses all viewpoints expressed therein, nor does it necessarily reflect its official position on every aspect of the content. The intellectual responsibility for each work remains solely with its respective author.
Our vision is for CopticReads.org to become the leading digital reference for Orthodox Christian writings in both Arabic and English, and the primary destination for Coptic readers and researchers worldwide. We aspire to contribute to the dissemination of authentic Orthodox teachings through an accessible and well-curated digital platform that reaches readers of all ages and theological backgrounds across the globe. Values: Faithfulness — Grounded in authentic Orthodox tradition and the living heritage of the Church. Accessibility — Free for all, always, with no fees, no subscriptions, and no barriers. Integrity — Respecting the rights of authors, publishers, and readers in everything we do. Service — Offered in the spirit of the Church's eternal calling to teach and serve all people.
