Moving from the tension in Jerusalem to Jesus's retreat to Samaria and Ephraim, the narrative weaves chapters on Sabbath law, the commandment of love, and teachings across the Decapolis, Judea, and Galilee. Through encounters with disciples, parables, and prophecies of suffering, the work culminates in the journey to Jericho and Bethany, ending with the Bethany supper before entering Jerusalem, illustrating the ultimate triumph of divine love and redemption over suffering.
